Seven Countries Included in the First Phase

The first phase of the new visa program covers travelers from seven countries:

• Bangladesh
• Indonesia
• Jordan
• Egypt
• Mexico

Citizens from these countries will be able to apply through approved travel providers participating in the program.

How the Package Visa Works

Instead of submitting a separate tourist visa application, travelers will purchase an approved travel package that includes the essential services required for visiting Saudi Arabia.

The package combines:

• Round-trip flight tickets
• Hotel accommodation
• Electronic tourist visa processing
• Travel insurance
• Required travel documents

After completing the booking and payment process, eligible travelers are expected to receive their visa and travel documents electronically, making the application process faster and more convenient.

Faster Processing for Travelers

Saudi tourism authorities say the electronic tourist visa is expected to be processed within approximately 48 hours after the travel package has been approved.

Because the application is handled digitally through authorized providers, travelers generally will not need to visit a Saudi embassy or submit a separate visa application under this program.

The move is expected to reduce paperwork and improve the overall travel experience for international tourists.

Key Requirements of the New Visa

The Package Visa Program includes several important conditions:

• The visa is issued for a single entry.
• It remains valid for three months.
• Visitors must stay for at least two days.
• The maximum permitted stay is 88 days.
• A confirmed round-trip airline ticket is required.
• Accommodation must be booked at approved hotels participating in the program.

These requirements are intended to ensure that visitors have confirmed travel arrangements before arriving in the Kingdom.

Approved Service Providers

Saudi authorities have authorized selected travel companies to offer the new package visa service during the initial launch.

Travelers must complete their bookings through approved providers to qualify for the simplified visa process. Additional travel agencies may be added to the program as it expands.
